Mission Statement

We are a production company whose mission is to empower underrepresented communities (people of color, women, LGBTQIA) to tell their own stories, in their own voices.

We have heard ‘Hollywood has run out of new ideas.” Yet, that expression is a false narrative. There are countless untold stories about marginalized people that were never given an opportunity before the current climate.

We believe in more than simply casting diversity. We are putting leadership of our projects in the hands of members of these communities who deserve to speak in first person narrative – our content fully represents the identity of the audience from top to bottom. This is a world of difference than merely trying to empathize with our audience and hoping we hit the mark.

Originally inspired by the power of journalism, our authenticity adds to our collective understanding and enables us to more compassionately relate to other points of view. 

Our work

Our team is composed of award-winning writers, directors, and producers who have made hit series for Amazon, Showtime, FOX and YouTube as well as partnerships with Facebook, VICE and Pharrell’s I am Other. Some of our work includes the sports shows “Ritual,” “@TheBuzzer” and “Deportes @TheBuzzer,” the comedy series “The Fighter & The Kid,” as well as the docu-series “Z Dream” (the highest-rated program on FOX's SPEED Network). We are also alumni of YouTube Space LA’s residency program.
